Our new family from Ukraine, Mykola, Olena, and Autor, have arrived safely and are residing with the Verbytsky Family.  Olena is currently looking for a part-time job cleaning and/or cooking.  The family is also hoping to purchase a used car.  If anyone can help please contact the rectory at 724-266-2262.
Mark your calendars for Friday May 8th at 7:00PM when a group led by the Marian Guild will be praying the Rosary from home.
Please invite others to join as well.

From Mary we learn to surrender to God’s Will in all things.
From Mary we learn to trust even when all Hope seems gone.
From Mary we learn to love Christ her Son and the Son of God!

The Holy Father has asked that all Catholics all over the world, during the month of May, to especially ask the Blessed Mother to intercede on our behalf for all those who are affected by the virus in any way.  In our church, beginning with this Sunday, May 3rd, and all Sundays in May, we will live stream Moleben to Mary the Mother of God on Sundays, at 12:30P.M.  Please join us for these devotions to the Blessed Mother as we unite together as people of faith during this time.

From Father Walter on April 16, 2020, the following are the twelve contemplations from a Resurrection Moleben written in 1987:

As we contemplate Victory in Your Resurrection, O Risen Lord, we come to realize that in the bitterness of our daily struggles,
we shall taste the sweetness of victory for Christ is Risen.
Christ is risen from the dead, trampling death by death, and to those in the tombs giving life.

As we contemplate the Wonder of Joy in Your Resurrection, O Risen Lord, we come to realize that through cloudy moments
of sadness and sorrow, sooner or later Your sunshine of Joy will burst forth for Christ is risen.
Christ is risen from the dead, trampling death by death, and to those in the tombs giving life.

As we contemplate the Power of Healing in Your Resurrection, O Risen Lord, we come to realize that in moments of weakness,
we shall receive Your healing strength for Christ is risen.
Christ is risen from the dead, trampling death by death, and to those in the tombs giving life.

As we contemplate the promise of Peace in Your Resurrection, O Risen Lord, we come to realize that in times of turmoil, fear,
and anxiety, we shall receive the promise of Your peace, calm, tranquility for Christ is risen.
Christ is risen from the dead, trampling death by death, and to those in the tombs giving life.

As we contemplate the Power of Hope in Your Resurrection, O Risen Lord, we come to realize that moments of despondency,
depression will give in to the power of Your uplifting, joyful hope for Christ is risen.
Christ is risen from the dead, trampling death by death, and to those in the tombs giving life.

As we contemplate the gift of Eternal Life in Your Resurrection, O Risen Lord, we come to realize that the darkness of death
is taken away by the light of Your eternal life for Christ is risen.
Christ is risen from the dead, trampling death by death, and to those in the tombs giving life.

As we contemplate the empty tomb in Your Resurrection, O Risen Lord, we come to realize that death in reality is nothing
but a birth to eternal life for Christ is risen.
Christ is risen from the dead, trampling death by death, and to those in the tombs giving life.

As we contemplate the triumph of Love in Your Resurrection, O Risen Lord, we come to realize that in moments of hatred
we shall sooner or later experience the promise and victory of Your love for Christ is risen.
Christ is risen from the dead, trampling death by death, and to those in the tombs giving life.

As we contemplate Divine Goodness in Your Resurrection, O Risen Lord, we come to realize that the assaults of evil in this world
will be conquered by the uplifting power of Your eternal goodness for Christ is risen.
Christ is risen from the dead, trampling death by death, and to those in the tombs giving life.

As we contemplate Heavenly Reunion in Your Resurrection, O Risen Lord, we come to realize that the separation
of our body from our soul in death gives way in eternity to the reunion of both body and soul for Christ is risen.
Christ is risen from the dead, trampling death by death, and to those in the tombs giving life.

As we contemplate heavenly glory in Your Resurrection, O Risen Lord, we come to realize that our bodies in death
return to dust but in eternal life our bodies take on the awesome mystery of a glorified beautiful state for Christ is risen.
Christ is risen from the dead, trampling death by death, and to those in the tombs giving life.

O Risen Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, with profound feelings of joyful gratitude, we proclaim the glory, the greatness, the marvel, the wonder of Your Resurrection.  The empty tomb shouts out to us the cries of victory, peace, hope, eternal life.  It is the empty tomb, Your Resurrection that reminds us that no matter what difficulties come our way in life, we shall overcome, conquer, be victorious.  For this great divine manifestation of love, we bow in humble adoration before You God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit now and forever.  Amen.
